“I am very proud of my daughter, because she is a very polite girl, focused on what she wants, mature, strong and with entrepreneurial spirit. To all this, the Growing Up Right Institute contributed a lot, making it possible for us to help her take advantage of every moment of her adolescence and reach maturity across the trajectory towards adulthood. Being a young apprentice helped Ketlyn with becoming more responsible, improving her speaking skills and expressing herself in public. Furthermore, the course encouraged her to stay committed to her schedules, take care of her uniform and personal care items.
After the conclusion of the course, we decided to work together, mother and daughter, and now we have our Kids Store, where she is in charge of sales and serves the public. The course also contributed a lot toward this context, because the activities convinced her of her entrepreneurial capacity. As mother, I support my daughter in everything, helping and advising in the best manner possible, teaching her how to put oneself in someone else’s place. My dream is to see her happy and accomplished. My daughter is a winner ever since she was born, because she spent four months in the Intensive Care Unit where two doctors, in a sad manner, told us she had no chances to survive. She fought for her life, survived, grew up and became a very strong girl, always focused and making her dreams come true. We two know that everybody is capable of great deeds. With dedication, willpower, fight and faith, everything is possible, it is just a matter of belief. We are very grateful to the Growing-Up Right Institute for the opportunity to help young people and their families”.
